It does have what looks more like DPS stats on it, but I love the stam on it, and have (had) my def covered in other places, so I used it as tank gear. I read that to get from 360 to 375 will cost approximately 400 Fel Iron Bars, 70 Primal Fires and 70 Primal Waters, can't say I'm terribly interested in going out and farming or buying all of those mats. @mavfin I actually got it up to 360 and called it good until the expansion. LK Blacksmithing will start there instead of 375, so it'll be simpler and cheaper.
